Definitions

% Top 10 - the percentage of a fund's net assets that are invested in its 10 largest holdings. This figure indicates a fund's level of conviction in its top holdings and can be an indicator of potential risk.

Earnings growth - the rate of growth in a company's profit, calculated after a company pays taxes and preferred shareholders as well as bondholders. A higher earnings growth rate indicates a company's profit strength.

Market cap (capitalization) - the current value of a firm, determined by multiplying the number of common shares it has outstanding by the price per share. Companies are usually ranked as large caps, mid caps, or small caps, with large caps generally considered more stable and less volatile, while midsize and small companies can be more volatile while offering long-term growth potential.
