Mr. Rives is a Portfolio Manager of Putnam Research Fund. In addition, he is an Analyst in the Equity Research group, focusing on the natural resources, utilities, and health-care sectors. Mr. Rives is responsible for conducting fundamental analysis, developing insights on material sustainability issues, assessing valuations, and making buy/sell recommendations for companies in the midstream oil and gas, medical technology, and all utility industries. Previously at Putnam, he served as an Equity Associate. Mr. Rives has been in the investment industry since he joined Putnam in 2013.
