Michael J. Atkin

Head of Global Sovereign Credit

Mr. Atkin is Head of Global Sovereign Credit within Fixed Income. Mr. Atkin manages a team of analysts who evaluate government securities in G7 countries as well as government and corporate emerging market debt. He also oversees the firm's exposure to emerging market debt. In addition, Mr. Atkin is a Portfolio Manager of Putnam Diversified Income Trust, Putnam Global Income Trust, Putnam Master Intermediate Income Trust, and Putnam Premier Income Trust. Mr. Atkin joined Putnam in 1997 and has been in the investment industry since 1988.
